Bio

Tickle the pig are a 4/5 piece folk and ballad band based in Ireland. We play a large and varied selection of Irelands Favourite ballad and Trad music.

The band is fronted by Dwain Casey from Dublin. Dwain is well renowned and regarded for his unique style of singing, Bringing a new edge to the folk and ballad songs of Ireland. Dwain is also an extremely accomplished guitarist and bouzouki player.

Ciaran Rafferty plays accordion and is held in high esteem for both his great style of song accompaniment and trad playing.

Damien O'Sullivan plays tenor banjo, mandolin, whistles and mandola and rotates through these instruments continually keeping the bands sound varied from one song or set of tunes to another.

Martin McCone on bass guitar and vocals completes this excellent line up.Martin is a very experienced musician having played for a number of years at home and abroad with well known folk group village folk.

Tickle the pig are also frequently joined by Patrick Pa Arthur on percussion and guitar.pa is an excellent and highly experienced percussionist.

Tickle the pig are available for bookings both at home and abroad,this is a great band with a big sound and well worth a listen to!
