Bio

Cormac John Lawlor goes under the abbreviated name Cormac J for an easier to remember name sake. His first encounter with the acoustic guitar goes back to teen years at Bridgetown secondary school, Co. Wexford.

From that point of his life Cormac never let the guitar stray too far him and so continued to work on his unique style of Irish trad of reel & rhythm which he blends into many contemporary songs for that Celtic effect.

Cormac's live performances are sure not to be missed as there is a bit of everything for everyone in his set which never stays the same! With his foot drum pulse to the spontaneous reels & riffs and the looping effect in between,it really is the sound of multiple instrumentalists!
