The ‘JP MAC Johnny Cash Tribute Show’ has been hailed the greatest Johnny Cash Tribute act in Ireland by fans, club owners and promoters alike, with a fantastic live energetic five-piece band that has been playing in clubs, festivals, hotels and theatres throughout the north and the south of Ireland for the past 4 years, while also having appeared on various radio slots, nationally and internationally.

Johnny Cash's very own drummer W.S. (fluke) Holland gave his unequivocal stamp of approval this year on his radio show, the Tennessee-based johnnycashradio.com, by stating that his tracks were “quite amazing”. JP MAC also won best male tribute act in the Ardee Country Awards in 2008.

Johnny Cash left a huge legacy and following behind and the JP MAC Johnny Cash Tribute show, while never replacing the ‘man in black’ himself, pleases even the most ardent Cash fans. With a noteworthy resemblance in his low, baritone voice combined with the famous ‘boom chicka’ pick devised originally by Cash’s first guitarist, Luther Perkins, and a mix of Cash’s bespoke onstage mannerisms results in a truly spectacular performance.

The show caters for all events - weddings, festivals, functions, party's, etc, while playing all Cash’s big numbers such as ‘Walk the Line’, ‘Get Rhythm’ and ‘Ring of Fire’ the band can also play a vast selection of other music genres - pop, rock, country, anything that is required for the specific occasion on the night. JP MAC can also provide a two-piece acoustic show, ideal for smaller venues or parties, while still playing all Cash’s greatest hits while maintaining Cash’s booming vocals and toe tapping rhythm.
