“TRES AMIGOS” Mexican trio, while remaining firmly rooted in the traditions of three piece guitar/vocal combo, has reaches out to other music styles and incorporates a more rhythmic, lively style of trio music and can creates a dance FIESTA where son is played and danced, as in Mexico, often from sundown until sunrise or longer. It is also a playful act where tradition becomes fluid: rules are made and broken as old forms are applied to new experience.
Tres Amigos is a unique ensemble of seasoned Mexican musicians working in Europe. It was formed in 1995 and has kept with the tradition of Mexican son true to its roots and old masters, and current and fresh at the same time.
