Morgin Breen is a cross over Country, Pop artist that covers Country, American Country, Pop, Rock n Roll & also has her own original album Written by Tom Paden from Nashville.

Tom also wrote for Loanstar, Kenny Rogers, Reba McEntire George Strai, Tammy Wynettet & many more.

My name is Morgin Breen and I was born in Omagh, Co. Tyrone to Patrick and Mary Breen. I have six sisters and five brothers and I am the second youngest.

My first memory of singing was when my brother, who was also my Godfather, recorded me singing at the age of about eight. He kept it for years, he was so proud of me. My memories weren’t good ones but, I remember in secondary school a lot of my class mates told the teachers I could sing, so when the school talent competition came around they convinced me to enter. I did and I sang a song called “Almost Persuaded” and played guitar and I forgot the words and totally froze!!! Embarrassed much!!!! The vice principle of the school happened to be sitting beside my sister and in her will to help me she dug her elbow into my sister really hard several times and gruffly saying to her, “Tell her the words, tell her the words” but of course my sister couldn’t think with pure shock!!! Lol

The music I heard growing up were that of Susan Mc Cann, Philomena Begley, Ray Lynam, Roly Daniels and Dolly Parton. I listened mainly to Dolly Parton as I loved the way she put feeling in a song and the stories her songs had. My influences have obviously changed through the years from Vince Gill through to Bruno Mars. I really like the pop genre but my heart lies with country music.

Through the years I played in the pubs and clubs and learned my craft. I stopped singing to rear my four children as I was a single mum. But the bug never left me and I began to slowly get back into it and gain confidence again. It was then I met my now husband who tortured the life out of me to get original material I didn’t think I could do it but my husband was right and I now have original music that I am very proud of. They were written for me by Tom Paden, (Paden Place Music Nashville), who also wrote for Tammy Wynette, Kenny Rogers, Lonestar, Reba McEntire and George Strait to name but a few. My aim is for everybody to enjoy and dance to my music and with the help of God I want to write and compose my own songs, so from start to finish it will be created and produced by me.
