4 piece ballad group from the midlands of Ireland. Playing mostly the best of irelands ballads from bands such as the dubliners , the clancy's and tommy makem and the furys.
Great Live band, full of energy and Up for the Craic. A fine example of real irish musicians from the heart of ireland.
Abbeyfolk has been going since the 1980`s. The only original member left is Jim ring on the whistle, we have clocked up thousands of miles playing all over the country in some great towns and pubs. We have supported such Acts as The fureys , Wolfe tones , Don Maclean and recently the Kilkennys
